Paris Giachoustidis

Biography

Paris Giachoustidis (born in Serres, Greece, in 1990) is a painter based in Berlin.

He initially studied at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki under Prof. Ioannis Fokas and continued his education at the Weißensee Academy of Art in Berlin under Prof. Werner Liebmann, where he graduated as a master student of Prof. Friederike Feldmann. While still a student, he was awarded the Art Prize of the Haus am Kleistpark in Berlin.

His painting combines figurative and surreal-seeming elements into ambiguous pictorial spaces in which human figures, nature, and symbolic motifs merge. With intense color and dynamic compositions, Giachoustidis explores themes such as perception, alienation, and social reality. His works have been exhibited internationally in museums, art associations, and galleries; solo exhibitions have taken place in Greece, Germany, and Spain, among other places.
