Paris Giachoustidis

Biography

Paris Giachoustidis (*1990 in Serres, Greece) is a Berlin-based painter whose work oscillates between reality and imagination. He first studied at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki under Prof. Ioannis Fokas and continued his education at the Weißensee Academy of Art Berlin with Prof. Werner Liebmann, where he graduated as a master student of Prof. Friederike Feldmann. During his studies, he received the DAAD Prize and was nominated for the Federal Prize for Art Students.

His painting combines figurative and surreal elements to create ambiguous pictorial spaces in which human figures, nature, and symbolic motifs merge. Through intense color and dynamic compositions, Giachoustidis explores themes such as perception, alienation, and social reality. His works have been shown internationally in museums, art associations, and galleries; solo exhibitions have taken place in Greece, Germany, and Spain, among others. He lives and works in Berlin.
