In our “Faces & Spaces” exhibition, we are showing six exciting artistic positions with works by Sandra Ackermann, Christa Filser, Sebastian Herzau, Stefanie Hofer, Frank Moll and Teresa Riba.
The artists all deal in very different ways with the themes of figure and portrait as well as space and landscape, which are among the most important subjects in art history, and create different interpretative spaces and levels to be discovered and experienced. The spatial and human references in the works of art on display awaken the viewer’s own levels of meaning as well as spaces of consciousness and imagery, and they also succeed in expanding, constructing, reducing or even dismantling them.
