The Flat – Massim
Born in Luxembourg in 1981, the artist studied art history at the University of Trier and obtained her master’s degree in fine arts at the University Marc Bloch in Strasbourg, France.
Sali Muller works with conceptual installation art and is an astute observer who subtly analyzes our human habits of seeing and perceiving. In her work, she explores concepts such as egoism, vanity and the role of the individual in relation to themselves and their environment. She also explores the human tendency to alienate ourselves from nature and our own self-image. With the help of photographs, objects, light and sound installations, Muller simulates reflection through the use of mirrors. The question of seeing, one’s own and that of others, is her main concern.
