I depict relatable concepts such as love, melancholy, and transience. It’s important to me to not only reflect my own experiences but also to leaving a room for interpretation, allowing them to project their own desires and stories onto my work.
For me, to simplify complex forms and reinvent them in new shapes is one of my practices. They should remain accessible and recognizable from the outside, yet also simple enough for me to execute.
I choose my themes from a combination of personal interests, observations, and lived moments. These must have triggered strong emotions in me or captivated and fascinated me, no matter how trivial they might seem.
Painting moments whether meaningful or ordinary and capturing them in a stage-like scene just before the climax unfolds. My work explores both the intense and the familiar, presenting them in a theatrical view.
In my paintings, I use symbols and the language of flowers to add layers of meaning and hint at the story behind each piece. But it’s not necessary for viewers to fully understand these details. Everyone connects with it in their own way, bringing their own feelings and perspectives to what they percieve.
