Introduction: Tinatin Ghughunishvili-Brück, art historian M.A.
“Ferzera”, the Georgian term for painting, consists of two words: color and writing. The narrative character of this name aptly describes the type of painting that these young artists from Georgia create using realistic stylistic devices.
Poetically and humorously, in an atmospheric visual language, they tell stories they have experienced, dreamed of, stories of others and their own.
They usually paint together, see themselves as a group of artists and convince with exciting interweavings and sensitive dialogs within their joint work.
