Although Christa Filser has used so many different styles, media and themes in the course of her artistic career, she does not allow herself to be pinned down to one particular approach.
For her, the individual works are like small pieces of evidence in the large field of research that is art. Proof that there are always new ways to produce colors from pigments, to process paper, to drown in color, to cut and to create new pictorial worlds.
The working process itself and the forward momentum of her work is the most important motivation and the exploration of the individual pictures in this process can never come to an end, says the artist.
Christa Filser‘s current works have recently been accompanied by a catalog, to which the concept and title of the exhibition also refer. The new catalog and an interview with Christa Filser will be presented at the vernissage.
