The group exhibition is an invitation to embrace the unpredictable—the interplay of control and chance, of formal intent and free association. Christa Filser, Carolin Israel, and Johanna Flammer share a common attitude through different artistic means: a desire to experiment and an openness to the unexpected. Together, the artists explore the interplay of pictorial reality, the breaking up and interweaving of visual planes, and the tension between perception and fiction. The exhibition invites visitors to wander between the multi-layered planes of color and form and experience the changing perspectives of an artistic capriccio in all their diversity.
