Die 1981 in Luxemburg geborene Künstlerin studierte Kunstgeschichte an der Universität Trier und erwarb ihren Master in Bildender Kunst an der Universität Marc Bloch in Straßburg, Frankreich.

Sali Muller arbeitet mit konzeptioneller Installationskunst und ist eine scharfsinnige Beobachterin, die auf subtile Weise unsere menschlichen Seh- und Wahrnehmungsgewohnheiten analysiert. In ihrer Arbeit untersucht sie Konzepte wie Egoismus, Eitelkeit und die Rolle des Einzelnen in Bezug auf sich selbst und seine Umwelt. Sie setzt sich auch mit der menschlichen Tendenz zur Entfremdung von der Natur und unserem eigenen Selbstbild auseinander. Mit Hilfe von Fotografien, Objekten, Licht- und Klanginstallationen simuliert Muller die Reflexion durch den Einsatz von Spiegeln. Die Frage nach dem Sehen, dem eigenen und dem der anderen, ist ihr Hauptanliegen.

Die Künstlerinnen Sali Muller, Julia Schewalie, Manuela Toselli und Anya Triestram heben durch ihren kreativen, künstlerischen und konzeptuellen Schaffungsprozess unterschiedliche Materialien und Stoffe in die Sphären der Kunst. In ihren Kunstwerken beziehen sie sowohl den Außenraum als auch die Betrachtenden bewusst mit ein, indem sie mit lichtreflektierenden, spiegelnden und sensorischen Mitteln arbeiten. Als Betrachter ist man fasziniert von diesem Wechselspiel an Wahrnehmung und es bewirkt sowohl ein körperliches als auch atmosphärisch-ästhetisches Erlebnis.
